Rodney Fowler
Rodney Clay Fowler, 50, of Pasadena, died suddenly Dec. 23 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of complications from surgery.
Born Jan. 4, 1954, Mr. Fowler was the founder and general manager of Wagner Coffee, which he managed for more than 25 years.
A 1972 graduate of Glen Burnie High School, he competed on the football, lacrosse and wrestling teams. He attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
He was a Mason and Shriner, an avid golfer and a member of Chartwell Country Club. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed gourmet cooking and barbecuing.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea Fowler; two sons, Andrew and Brendan Fowler of Pasadena; his father, Byron Fowler of Pasadena; one brother, Wayne Fowler of Severna Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park
