Robert E. Trescott, Sr. passed away of natural causes after a lengthy illness on March 13, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was 71. Born in Baltimore, he was a 38 year resident of Arnold. Until his retirement in 2002, he was the president of The Baltimore Sign Company which he co-founded with his father, Melvin Trescott, in 1961. He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, and working on his computer.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Eileen Trescott, and his loving children, June Higgins of Denton, Rob and Jane Trescott of Wake Forest, N.C., and Bruce Trescott of Pasadena. He was the doting grandfather of Matthew Higgins, Melody Higgins, Ethan Trescott, and Jared Trescott. He is also survived by his sister Frances E. Trescott of Annapolis.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Barranco & Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Saturday March 21, 2009 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm followed by a memorial service at 1:30pm.
