Robert Edward Sweeney, 65, of Severna Park, Maryland left our world on Tuesday, July 12th, 2016. A loving, devoted husband and father, Robert (also known as Bobby) is survived by his wife Sandie and their son James. Also he leaves his brothers, David (Kay) of Mechanicsville, Maryland, Ron (Susie) of Alexandria, Virginia and sister Carolyn Johnson (Rey) of Highland, Utah as well as many other loving family members. His Father, Thomas Weldon Sweeney; Mother, Ruby Cathleen Sweeney and Brother Thomas Lyle Sweeney (Carole) preceded him in death.

Robert was born on August 18, 1950 and learned the value of hard work growing up on his parent's tobacco farms in Croom and later in Leonardtown. "Bobby" retired in 2005 from the Ironworkers Local #5 after 32 years. Next to spending time with his family, he loved riding his Harley and playing on several Trivia teams. His kind and gentle ways coupled with his brilliant mind and memory leave us a challenging legacy to model. Funeral arrangements are private.
