Robert Francis Schram, 91, a resident of Glen Burnie, MD, died on August 13, 2009 of natural causes after a brief illness, at Chesapeake FutureCare in Arnold, MD.
He was born on April 05, 1918 in Sayre, PA, where he was raised. He lived in Riverdale, MD for 55 years and lived in the Washington area.
Mr. Shram was employed as a machinist with the Federal Government and retired after 25 years of service and he also retired from the Washington Terminal Railroad after 15 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus College Park 2809 Lodge and of the Elks in Sayre, PA. He enjoyed gardening, playing poker, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Margaret Farrell Schram.
Survivors include his three sons, Jerry Schram of Centreville, MD, Fred Schram of Gambrills, MD and John Schram of Arnold, MD; four sisters, Genevieve Baxter of Texas, Joyce Morgal of Greensburg, PA, Mary Clair Fiorello of Waverly, NY and Paula Alteri of Sayre, PA; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
