Robert Elsworth Schimpf, 77, of Severna Park, died at Futurecare in Arnold on February 22, 2012.
Robert was born to his parents, Frederick and Elsie Schimpf on July 15, 1934 in Baltimore, MD. Raised in the High Point Community of Pasadena, he attended George Fox School and later served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Schimpf was a professional drummer, playing in several bands in the Baltimore Washington area. He enjoyed photography and operating radio-controlled airplanes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Schimpf. He is survived by
his brother, Richard John Schimpf of Pasadena; his nieces, Karen Johnson & family, Sandra Cuzzart, and Jill Schimpf; and his nephew, Richard Schimpf, II. Services will be private.
