Robert George Meyer
Robert George Meyer, 73, a resident of Harford County, died of heart failure on December 11, 2008 at Perry Point Veterans Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Meyer was born on Dec. 6, 1935 in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Meyer resided in Martinsburg, WV for many years before moving to Harford County. He served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. Mr. Meyer worked as an aircraft mechanic at Capital Airline in Washington, D.C. He was an avid reader and enjoyed flowers and taking walks.
Mr. Meyer is survived by his brother, Jake H. Meyer of Arnold, MD and his sister-in-law, Angie Meyer of Arnold, MD. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary McDonough who died in 2008.
Visitation, services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by Barranco & Sons, P. A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
