Robert Angelo Maglio, 71, a resident of Raleigh, NC, passed away on January 6, 2017 at Transitions Life Care in North Carolina.
He was born on February, 25, 1945 in Elmhurst, NY and graduated from McArthur High School in Hollywood, FL. He previously lived in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tokyo, Japan, and North Carolina.
Robert served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1964-1966. He worked at Philip Morris, USA, Sergio's & Maglio Pizza, Grow Local Realty and Ei Corporation.
Robert was a member of Knights of Columbus and Harley's Owner Group (HOG).
He enjoyed motorcycle riding, racquetball, golf, & spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Antoinette Maglio of Raleigh, NC; sons, Thomas Maglio of Kent Island, MD and Frank Maglio of Mosely, VA; daughter, Gina Maglio Simmons of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, in Glen Burnie. Interment will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
