Robert W. Lessick, 81, of Arnold, MD, died on July 6, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

Bob was born on October 7, 1939 in Southwest (Hecla), PA to his parents Sam Lessick and Mary Hanko Lessick.  He lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Hurst High School in Norvelt, PA.  Bob moved to Baltimore in 1962 to work for Westinghouse.  He then had a distinguished career at the Department of Defense from 1965 until his retirement in December of 1995.

He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  Bob had a great sense of humor and loved the Orioles, fishing, traveling and college sports.  He became a lacrosse fan through watching his granddaughters play from a young age.

Bob is survived by his wife of 22 years Diane M. Ranagan Lessick, his son Bob Lessick, his daughter Louise Yesko (Fred), Don Oldershaw (Erica), Craig Oldershaw (Beth), his grandchildren, Blair Yesko, Abby Yesko, Kevin Weaver, Nik Oldershaw, Taylor Oldershaw, Sarah Oldershaw, Emma Oldershaw, Alissa D'Agostino and Nick D'Agostino and a great granddaugther Sophia Oldershaw.   Bob is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Winnegge (Ron).  In addition to eight nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by both parents, his brother Sam Lessick, Jr., his sister Eleanore Bechtell and his wife Ramonda, who died in 1997.

Visitation will be held at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 1 to 4pm, with the Services to follow at 4pm.

Interment will be private.
