Robert Paul Lamolinara of Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on August 15, 2014 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
Robert was born on March 6, 1964 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania where he was raised. Robert later moved to College Park, Arnold, Annapolis, and Baltimore, Maryland but treasured his time in Arnold with his family.
Robert was a graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High in Latrobe, PA. He attended The University of Maryland College Park and received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Manufacturing which led him to a career at Northrop Grumman Corporation as the Director of Manufacturing Operations.
Always active, Robert was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa and had formerly served as president of the fraternity. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as, the Sons of Italy. Robert served on the board of directors for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Robert was a proud parent and supporter of the Syracuse University Men's Lacrosse Team. He was also a member of the Medigans Bocce Team in Little Italy, Baltimore. Robert had a kind heart for those in need and often volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.
Robert is survived by his parents, Edward and Joanna Lamolinara of Latrobe, PA. He was a loving father to his children, Bethany, Dominic, and Alison Lamolinara of Arnold, MD. He was a cherished friend to Christine Lamolinara of Arnold, MD. He is survived by his siblings, Lisa Dorfman (Ted) of Greensburg, PA, David Lamolinara (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, FL, and Gary Lamolinara (Dana) of Greensburg, PA. He will be remembered as a caring uncle by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, Annapolis, MD. At Robert's request, those attending may wear colorful clothing.
Memorial gifts may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Habitat for Humanity.
A memorial service will be held in Latrobe, PA at a later date.
