Robert E. Kauffman, 73, a resident of Arnold, died on March 3, 2011, at Anne Arundel Medical Center Hospice in Annapolis.
He was born on November 7, 1937 in Manheim, PA and graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, University of Maryland at College Park, Bread Loaf School of English and New York University.
Mr. Kauffman was a theatre arts professor for the past 30 ½ years at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold.
He is survived by his wife of 38 ½ years, Dorothy Kaufman; a sister, Yvonne Kauffman of PA; and a brother, Reuben Kaufman of PA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at the Brickerville United Lutheran Church 340 E 28th Division Highway Lititz, PA 17543. Arrangements made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
