Robert "Max" Hanratty, 26, of Millersville, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2019.

Max was born on May 30, 1992 to Patrick and Robin in Arlington, VA. He was raised in Severna Park, graduated from Shipley's Choice Elementary School and Rockbridge Academy in Millersville. Max loved sports, following his favorite teams. He especially enjoyed following The Yankees, The Oakland A's, Chargers, Saints, and The Lakers to name a few. He loved playing fantasy sports with his friends. Max loved music from the 80's and bands like Edjacated Phools, Coheed & Cambria, and Dragonforce. He was an outstanding trivia teammate and loved to talk politics. As a talented cook, he loved cooking for friends and had a generous and loyal heart supporting his friends and co-workers.

Max is survived by his parents, Patrick and Robin (Harling) Hanratty, of Millersville and his two brothers, Jackson and Timothy Hanratty, both of Millersville.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10am to 11am in the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A memorial ceremony will be held at 11am immediately following the gathering. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bees Trees Water (donation website is being updated to include Max's name) and/or the Special Olympics of Maryland .
