Col. Robert "Bob" Milton Hamilton (Ret) died Monday, June 22, 2015, after a brief illness at the Anne Arundel Medical Center at the age of 89.

Born October 24, 1925, in Philadelphia, PA where he lived for all of his childhood.  Col. Hamilton was a longtime Arnold resident.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. At the time of his graduation he was the youngest ever to do so.   He then began his career in the U.S. Army. Col. Hamilton was stationed in Japan, Brussels and various locations around the United States.  After retiring from the Army he opened a printing business in Washington D.C. and later became the Comptroller of a computer programming company.

Preceded in death by his wife, Janet Williams Hamilton and daughter Gail Hamilton Reid, he is survived by his daughter Robin Agnoli, 3 grandchildren Christine Coulson, John Angoli and Carolyn White and 3 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:30am at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road , Crownsville.
