IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Greco
January 13, 1939 – August 8, 2022
Robert A. Greco, known to friends and family as Bob, passed away on Monday August 8, 2022 at his home in Severna Park with his wife Patricia (Pat) at his side.
Bob was born on January 13, 1939 to Joseph and Jean (neé Palazzotto) Greco. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps for six years and continued to serve the public for twenty three years as a Prince George's County Law Enforcement Officer. Bob and Pat were married on February 12, 1979. He inherited an immediate family of three stepsons and many fun relatives of his wife.
One of the things Bob loved to do was to talk to anyone with an interest in cars, and swap stories of their time in the military with fellow veterans. One of his favorite TV shows was "The Young and the Restless" and he was devoted to his best furry friend, Whiskey.
Bob was a true devotee to St. Anthony and St. Jude- the patron saints for "lost articles and emergencies." This, of course, was his version. He and Pat prayed at Novenas at home over the years.
He was a good man, who loved his family and friends even though he could be a bit grumpy and opinionated at times.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jean Greco, as well as his brother Joseph Greco Jr. and his sister Dolores Greco.
In addition to his wife Patricia, Bob is survived by his sister Jeanette Stup of New Freedom, PA; his brother George Greco of Fairfax VA; his nephew Michael Johnson of Dayton, NV; his niece Jacqueline Doggler of Stuartstown PA; his stepsons Richard Powell of Severna Park, MD, Dennis Powell of Mexico, and Timothy Powell of Port Orchard, WA and five step grandchildren and five (and a half) step great grandchildren.
There will not be a service held at this time, as he had wished to be cremated and buried with his wife when God calls her home.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Bob's name to St. Jude Children's research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html
