Robert Edward Rivers, 73, of Millersville, Maryland passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Mary Margaret Rivers (neé Meagher) and Joseph Andrew Rivers II on September 16, 1952.

Bob was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps and after his service he worked for many years as a brick mason for French Construction Services Inc. He was also a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local #1 Union.

Bob was an extremely kind and loving man, he was always helping others and never thinking about himself. He was a hardworking man, and after his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and gardening together.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Susan Rivers; his brothers, Steve Rivers and Neil Rivers; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret Steinbrunner, and his brother Joseph Rivers III.

Family and friends may visit during the Memorial Gathering on Saturday December 6th from 1-4pm at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD, 21146.
