Robert Hampton Davisson, 91, of Annapolis, Maryland passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 21 st in his home in Annapolis, MD.

Bob was born on November 12, 1926 in Ranger, Texas, the son of the late Wade Hampton and Helen Louise Davisson.  He graduated from Salem High School in Salem, IL in 1944 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from July 12, 1945 until November 6, 1946.

He graduated from Dental Laboratory Technical school and worked for over 30 years as a technical salesman for Dentsply International in York, PA.  He also owned and operated his own dental laboratory during his career.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.  He especially enjoyed fly fishing and was a proud member of the Free State Fly Fishers Club of Annapolis, MD.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Davisson; sons Mark (Denise) of Centreville, MD, and Kevin (Janis) of Crofton, MD, and his sister Nancy Ragsdale of Bloomington, III.  He was preceded in death by his older sister, Jackie Roberts, and by his only daughter, Dana Davisson.  Bob is also survived by four granddaughters, Shobian, Cara, Nicole and Lindsay and two grandsons Ben and Justin.

He was a tremendous husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10am at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. Interment will be at 11:30 am at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at 1122 Sunrise Beach Road in Crownsville, MD, 21032.
