Robert Brauns
Robert Paul Brauns, 54, a lifelong resident of Severna Park, died of a sudden illness July 22 at his home.
Born in Baltimore on March 5, 1953, Mr. Brauns graduated from Severn Preparatory School in 1971 and attended the University of Maryland, College Park. He worked for the Coca-Cola Co. as a cooler mover for more than six years.
He was an avid reader who also enjoyed practical jokes, boating, water skiing, Severn River activities and trips to Ocean City.
Surviving are his mother, Gertrude L. Stinchcomb Hall; one son, David A. Brauns; one daughter, Lauren T. Brauns, all of Severna Park; and one sister, Leona M. Bermudez of Annapolis. He was the son of William Paul Brauns who died in 1970.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Burial will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
