Robert Blair

Robert Charles "Bob" Blair, 65, a resident of Severna Park for 26 years, died of pneumonia Dec. 28 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Mr. Blair was born July 26, 1942, in Baltimore, where he was also raised. He earned a degree in accounting.

He was employed as controller for Chesco Communications, and previously worked as controller and vice president at Lee Electric Co. for 25 years.

He was proud of his military service as a corporal in the Marine Corps.

He was an avid kayaker and scuba diver and enjoyed traveling and reading.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Lois Anne Blackwell Blair; one daughter, Melissa Blair Livingston of Boynton Beach, Fla; one stepson, Walter Bawroski of Parkville; one stepdaughter, Sharon Baer of Chambersburg, Pa.; two brothers, Joseph and Dennis Blair of Baltimore; one sister, Susan Parks of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
