June 19, 1947 – July 22, 2005
Robert Andrew Baker, 58, of Severna Park, died July 22 at his home from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, after a two and one-half-year illness.
Mr. Baker was born June 17, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas. He lived in Los Angeles and Honolulu, Hawaii, before moving to Severna Park.
He was employed by ARINC in Annapolis.
His hobbies were reading and working with computers.
Survivors include his wife, Patrice Chisako Gokan Baker of Severna Park; two daughters, Jennifer Baker Emswiler of Bel Air in Harford County and Amanda Baker of Severna Park; his mother, Fredona Baker of Forth Worth; one stepson, Kevin Buck of Waco, Texas; and his sister, Colleen Brewer of Arlington, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Glen Burnie Baptist Church, 7524 Old Stage Road. Burial is private.
