Richard C. Webber, 87, of Severna Park, Maryland passed away on March 10, 2018.

Dick was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on May 10, 1930 to Erma and Morgan Webber. He was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan as the eldest of three boys. He was an active and enterprising youth who didn't hesitate to take on new ventures.

After graduating from Union High School, Dick served four years in the Air Force. While stationed in Denver he married the love of his life, Lynn. They returned to Michigan where he began his engineering career and earned his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1959. Together they raised their family in Ann Arbor before moving to Severna Park, Maryland in 1971 when he started a job at Westinghouse. He worked there until he retired in 1993.

Dick was a devoted family man, raising a family of six children. He was a brilliant engineer, a talented woodworker, an avid genealogist, and handyman extraordinaire. Dick started singing in a choir at the age of ten and continued singing in church choirs throughout his life. For almost 60 years, he was a devoted member of SPEBQSA (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America).

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lynn, and his children: Glyn (Carolyn), Lezlie, Randy (Heidi), Kerri, Laura (Jack), and Megan. He is the proud grandfather of Andy (Nora), Michael (Scott), Shea (Alex), Jennifer (Chris), Jonathan (Cait), Britney (Cliff), Tanner, Trisha, and Megan. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren (and counting).
