Richard Shaw
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park, for Richard Preston Shaw, 56, a resident of Hanover for 25 years, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound July 25 at his place of business. A story ran in the July 27 edition of The Capital.
Born April 29, 1950, in Flint, Mich., the daughter of Laura Mary Shaw of Severna Park and the late John D. Shaw, Mr. Shaw was reared in Flint, Glen Burnie and Severna Park.
Mr. Shaw was the owner and operator of Motion Pictures Talent Agency and Kidz in the Biz.
His interests included gardening, photography, working in his business venture and helping others.
Surviving are his daughter, Brooke Shaw of Ocean City; two stepchildren, Jason Souza of York, Pa. and Nicole Souza of Ocean City; and two sisters, Suzanne E. Harrill of Castle Rock, Colo., and Nancy Moonstarr of Annapolis.
Burial is private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
