Richard S. Sade, 80, resident of Arnold, MD, passed away on January 15, 2016.

Richard was born on March 6, 1935 in Baltimore, MD and raised in Dundalk, MD and Baltimore City by his parents Michael and Barbara Sade. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Baltimore. Richard worked for Bethlehem Steel, Martin-Marietta, NASA for 24 and a half years, and later Lockheed Martin for 10 years.

Richard was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. A favorite hobby of his was cars, especially his 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible.

Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha; his sons Douglas (Sheila), Mark, Michael, and Joseph Sade. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 2 nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 at 11 am at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224-1998 following the funeral service.
