Richard Neil Rausch, 78, of Gambrills, Maryland and Bethany Beach, Delaware passed away November 19, 2014.

Son of the late Linus and Beulah Rausch. Richard was born September 21, 1936 in Flint Michigan.

Survived by his loving wife Frances Wabell, their three daughters and their spouses, Christine and Michael Morgan of Onancock, Virginia. Tracy and Mark Baldwin of Odenton, Maryland, and their children Stephanie and Christopher Barnhauser, Neil, Eric, Francis, Alexander, and Caleb Baldwin.  Dana and James Henstrand and their children Jack and Anna Henstrand of Severna Park, Maryland, his brother James and OraMae Rausch and their children Mark and Linda Rausch, Debra and Kenneth Welsh, Dianne and Jeffery Hoffman of Michigan.

He started his career at the General Motors Truck & Bus Operation in Baltimore MD in 1958, also worked at the Janesville, Ohio Plants, and Detroit, Michigan and returned to the Baltimore Plant in 1968 from which he retired in 1990.

After his retirement from General Motors he became a volunteer for the Anne Arundel Police Department and served for 18 years.

Richard enjoyed his retirement and many years in Bethany Beach where he enjoyed playing golf.

Relatives and friends may call at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, on Monday, November 24 ^th , from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church,1070 Cecil Ave, Millersville, on Tuesday, November 25 ^th , at 11am.

Entombment will be held at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville.
