Richard Howard Pfisterer Jr., 69, of Severna Park, MD, passed away at home on September 28, 2026.

Richard was born on December 1, 1956 to Richard H. Pfisterer Sr. and Bertha (neé Scheckels) Pfisterer. He was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and he was Catholic.

Richard was the owner of Mercado Jewelers in Severna Park and he served the community with pride for many years.

Richard is survived by his fiancée, Mary Jo Duvall of Severna Park, MD; his sons Richard Pfisterer III (Lauren) of Pasadena, MD, Eric Pfisterer (Nikkitta) of Catonsville, MD, and John McMullen (Tracey) of Linthicum, MD; his daughter Christina Pfisterer of Glen Burnie, MD; and his grandson Tyler Pfisterer of Severna Park, MD; his sister Charlene Hamilton (and her late husband Joe) of Brooklyn Park, MD; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
