Richard Paul Page, 55, of Severna Park, died of cancer Oct. 6 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a three-week illness.
Mr. Page had worked for the past 20 years as director of transportation for the Maryland Public Service Commission.
Born June 24, 1950, in Baltimore and reared in Towson, he graduated in 1972 from the University of Maryland, where he joined the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, and received his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1977.
He was a member of Severna Park United Methodist Church, and in his younger years was a member of DeMolay International. He also was a member of the Association for Severna Park Improvement, Renewal and Enhancement.
His interests included hunting, fishing and golf.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine J. Page; one daughter, Carolyn E. Page of Annapolis; one son, Andrew H. Page of Annapolis; and one sister, Mary Lou Griffiths of Baltimore.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Moreland Memorial Park, 2901 Taylor Ave., near Hillendale in Baltimore County. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made by www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
