Richard "Dick" P. Adams, 84, a resident of Severna Park died at his home on August 7, 2014.
He was born on July 1, 1930 in New York, NY, where he was raised, and moved to Severna Park in 1971.
Dick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion. He was a private pilot, restored cars, loved football, and the beach.
He worked for Celotex, Columbia Molding, and Industrial Lighting.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Paula Adams of Severna Park; one daughter, Susan Richburg of Millersville; three sons, Robert Adams of Bowie, Christopher Adams (Bernadette) of Pasadena, and Kenneth Adams of Severna Park; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-6 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
