Richard "Dick" May, 89, passed away at his home in Arnold, MD on March 4, 2022.

Dick was born on April 9, 1932 in Baltimore, MD. He worked as an iron worker while attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Dick loved helping people through his career as an Attorney, his office was located in Glen Burnie.

Dick and his wife Jackie were daily communicants of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, the Glen Burnie Elks and several other organizations.

Dick was married for 68 years to his beloved wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Elliott May, He was the loving father of Janet L. Ziemski (Matt) of Arnold, Susan M. Butterwei (Dennis) of Arnold, Michael L. May (Monica) of Severna Park, Richard L. May, Jr. (Rene') of Severna Park, Patrick L. May (Cindy) of Pasadena and Christopher L. May (Rita) of Arnold, dear brother of Lee J. May (Wilma) of Severna Park and Sr. Carol Ann May of Columbus, Ohio. Loving grandfather of 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed attending his family's sporting events and many activities.

Friends may visit at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home and Cremation Care, P.A. on Tuesday March 8th from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Wednesday March 9th at 1pm.

Interment will be private.
