Richard Thomas Lynch, III (Dickie), 57, a resident of Glen Burnie, died on April 28, 2014 of a sudden heart attack at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

He was born on January 3, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland, and he was raised in Round Bay. He graduated from Mt. Saint Joseph High School in 1975. He lived at the Omni House in Glen Burnie for the past 30 years.

Richard enjoyed boating, music, Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Richard T. Lynch and Mary McGlannan Lynch.

He is survived by his four beloved sisters, Laura M. Lynch of Arnold, Carol L. Stob (David) of Round Bay, Louise "Wiezie" Lynch of Arnold, and Tammie E. Dreese of Arnold and one beloved niece, Kathryn A. Stob.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 1 pm-3 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, with a Memorial Service to follow, beginning at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

The Lynch Family would like to give a special thanks to the Omni House, especially Lois Miller, President/CEO and her staff for the excellent support and care they provided to Dickie. Omni House is a facility that provides psychiatric and rehabilitation services for adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
