On April 5, 2021 Richard (Dick) Lee Stock of Severna Park, MD, loving husband and father of three children peacefully passed away at his home at the age of 87.  Richard was born on May 16, 1933 to Harry and Hazel (Spoonhoff) Stock in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He received his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Finance and Commercial Law from George Washington University.  On December 23, 1956 Dick married Rochelle Galler.  Together they raised two sons, Richard Jr and Stephen, and a daughter Wendy.

Richard served honorably in the U. S. Army and was discharged at the rank of Corporal in 1961.  In 1959 he began his career with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and retired in 1979 as the Director of Program Review & Resources Management.   He also served as Project and Program Managers for several private companies including Sytematics General and Lockheed.

Richard was preceded in death by his son Richard Jr., Parents Harry and Hazel Stock and brother Edgar Stock.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rochelle; son Stephen Stock and wife Debbie of Charlotte NC; daughter Wendy Vahsen and husband Steve of Annapolis MD; grandchildren Karen Fike, Stephen Stock Jr., Mel Hefty, and Megan Vahsen, and six great grandchildren.  Nieces Pier McGrath and Chris Stock.

A private burial service will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the charity of your choice.
