Richard Lee Booker passed away on August 26th, 2023.

He was born on July 1, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to his parents Bud Booker and Beatrice Booker. He grew up in Edmonson Village in Baltimore and graduated from Calvert Hall High School. He went on to graduate from Loyola College and worked with the Social Security Administration in the HR department.

He was married on August 28, 1999 to Dolores Booker. Richard enjoyed his hobbies of Model Trains (Lionel) and Cars, he also attended Heritage Church. He is survived by his wife Dolores Booker; Three sons, stepson, and stepdaughter, Richard Booker, Christopher Booker, David Booker, Roy Chappelle, and Kimberly Sadaka; Four daughter-in-law's and son-in-law, Kelley Booker, Debbie Gary/Booker, Veronika Booker, and Al Sadaka; Nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Carissa, Natalie, Donovan, Jonah, Jillian, Elijah, Keera, and Liam; And three great grandchildren, River, Ryan, and Adelena.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday August 31, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD 21146. His funeral service will be held on Friday September 1, 2023 at 12pm at Barranco Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville MD, 20132.
