Regis A. Karcher was born in Johnstown, PA on January 14, 1937. Mr. Karcher passed away from long term health complications on December 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by son, Mark A. Karcher; father, Bernard C. Karcher; mother, Mary E. (Seth) Karcher; step-mother, Agnes E. (Wehner) Karcher; and brother, Bernard F. Karcher. Mr. Karcher is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vivian L . (Ober) Karcher; daughters, Katherine Cosner, and Theresa Chute, as well as sons, Paul and John Karcher. His grandchildren, Aliese and Phillip Karcher, daughter and son of John Karcher, also surpass him.

Regis was a registered Professional Engineer in five states, who worked in engineering and managerial positions in the steel and chemical industries. Later as president of his own company, Karcher Consulting, Inc., he assisted clients in managing their industrial businesses. He also served as chairman of the Kingwood West Virginia water works for many years. Mr. Karcher was a devout Catholic and served as an usher for 18 years at St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park, MD. Regis was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather who will be missed.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
