Reginald J.
Kalinowski
November 9, 1940 – July 8, 2025
Reginald Kalinowski, 84, of Arnold, passed away after a brief illness on July 8, 2025.
He was born and raised in Baltimore City before moving with his wife to Cape St. Claire, and later Arnold.
Reginald, or "Reg" or "Reggie" as he was more often called, was a printer for The Washington Post before retiring in 2001 with 42 years in the International Typographical Union. Prior employment included The Baltimore Sun, and as his children are well aware, assisting at a very young age in a local grocery store in Baltimore City owned by his father.
Reggie's other accomplishments include an Honorable Discharge from the Army National Guard, a talent with an accordion and keyboard, a handiness with home improvements, and a 58-year marriage. In his free time, Reggie enjoyed boating, playing music, working on household projects, being around his neighbors, and going out to eat and shop. While not much of a traveler, Reggie enjoyed Ocean City and walking the boardwalk.
Reggie is survived by his daughter Sandra, sons David and Joseph, grandchildren Crystal, Barbara, David, and Bailey, sister Joanne P. Cohen and her husband Steven Cohen. Reggie is preceded in death by his loving wife Phyllis, father Joseph, mother Janina, and brother Kenney.
