Regina F. Bachman, 83, a resident of Severna Park, died November 17, 2008, at home, due to natural causes.

She was born October 4, 1925 to the late Anthony and Magdalena Polanowski in Baltimore, Maryland.

She married in 1945 to John Nebel, who is now deceased. She moved to Severna Park in 1952. She married in 1972 to Daniel Bachman, who has passed on.

She worked during WWII as a riveter on airplanes at Eastern Aircraft Corp., and worked as a Tupperware dealer, then was half owner of Circle Inn, and then worked for A.A. Co. Dept of Social Services.

Mrs. Bachman was a Past President and Honorary Life Member of Severn Unit 175 (American Legion Aux.), Lifemember of VFW Aux. 304, Member of Glen Burnie Elks Aux., and member of Lower Magothy Beach Community Association.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Nebel and Daniel Bachman, sisters, Lillian Goralski and Florence Johannesen, and brother, Daniel Polanowski,

Survivors include her son, John C. Nebel of Denton, MD; daughters, Joan C. Norton of Old Town, FL and Audrey J. Nebel of Severna Park, MD; and brothers, Chester Polanowski of Baltimore, MD, Eugene Polanowski of Forest Hill, MD, Robert Polanowski of Dundalk, MD; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday, November 21 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Dundalk, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401.
