Rebecca A. Igoe, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was born on May 11, 1948 to Paul and Leah Cannehl in Jackson, Michigan. She later moved to Chicago, IL, Japan, and San Antonio, TX before moving to Maryland. She graduated from Jackson High School and then went to college at Concordia in River Forest, IL. Rebecca then received her master's in education at the University of Southern California. She taught at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Glen Burnie for 26 years.

Rebecca enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking, watching The Chew and QVC, camping, and doting on her three grandsons. She is predeceased by her brother John Cannehl. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Thomas Igoe of Glen Burnie, MD; her daughter Jennifer Rundle (David) of Pasadena, MD; her son Douglas Igoe (Michelle) of Danbury, CT; her sisters Pauline Ropp, Sandra Woodman, and Joyce Cannehl; her brother-in-law Tim Igoe; her three grandsons Matthew, Christopher, and Sean; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:30am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 308 Oak Manor Dr., Glen Burnie, MD, 21061. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
