Raymond Allan Shilinski, 61, resident of Severna Park for 25 years, died October 8th at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Shilinski, of 29 years of marriage; his son, Matthew Shilinski, 25, also of Severna Park; and his brother, Stanley Shilinski of Medina, MN.

Raymond, an electrical engineer, was a devoted employee of the US Government, Department of Defense - NSA. He retired from the Agency on July 31, 2011, after 40 years of service. Raymond was also an avid billiards player, enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, and was a dedicated member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
