Raymond L. Rogers, 72, a resident of Millersville for more than 33 years, died of lung cancer Oct. 20 at his home after a 16 month illness.
Mr. Rogers was born Feb. 10, 1932, and raised in South Baltimore. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was supervisor of the customer relations department for Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. for more than 40 years.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoyed watching his four grandchildren playing sports.
In addition, he is survived by his wife, Angela E. Rogers; one daughter, Sabrina M. Coughlin of Severna Park; one son, Raymond E. Rogers of Millersville; his mother, Thelma Rogers, and three brothers, Roy, Rony and Randy Rogers, all of Baltimore.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, with a Mass of Christian burial offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
