Raymond Earl Holland III, 40, a seven-year resident of Glen Burnie, died Dec. 4 of complications from a kidney transplant at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore after an eight-year illness.
Born July 13, 1965, in Baltimore, Mr. Holland was reared in Millersville. He graduated from Old Mill High School in 1983 and attended Anne Arundel Community College and Frostburg State University.
He worked as an independent artist and enjoyed music, his family and travel.
Surviving are his parents, Angela E. Rogers of Severna Park and Raymond Holland Jr. of Bel Air; three sisters, Sabrina M. Coughlin of Severna Park and Lisa Redding and Kim Rooker, both of Bel Air; and his grandparents, Raymond Holland Sr. of Westminster and Gioia Curtessi of Toledo, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
