Ray Franklin Reusing, 73, of Arnold, died of heart failure Feb. 24 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie after a lengthy illness.

Born in the Marley Station area and reared in Elvaton, Mr. Reusing was a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County. He worked for the Anne Arundel County Police Department for more than 17 years.

He enjoyed bluegrass music, watching wrestling and working on his farm.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret G. Reusing; one daughter, Margaret Ann Bem of Arnold; three sisters, Alverta Kirk of Bridgetown in Caroline County, Veronica L. Polgerzelski of Newbury, Ohio, and Charlotte Jean Miller of Zephyrhills, Fla.; one brother, Francis Leo Reusing of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at noon Monday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie. Online oncondolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com
