Ray J. Jicka, 74, a resident of Millersville, MD, died on August 20, at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Jicka was born October 17, 1933 in Berwyn, IL, where he was raised. He lived in Marlboro, NJ for 16 years and lived in Millersville for the past 23 years.
He was self employed in Investor Relations Consulting.
He served in the Navy and was a 'Navy Aviator" from 1955-1958.
Mr. Jicka enjoyed photography and computers but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was very active member in the Maryland Republican Party.
Survivors include his wife Marcia A. Jicka of Millersville, MD; three daughters, Kathleen A. Doud of Merrimac, MA, Mary Louise Palucki of Park Ridge IL, and Maureen F. Lalor of Great Falls; a son, Mark R. Jicka of Upper Saddle River, NJ; and ten grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, August 24 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home in Severna Park.
A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 25 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Fields, 1070 Cecil Avenue in Millersville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation, 2001 Medical Parkway, Sajak Pavilion, Suite 204, Annapolis, MD 21401.
