Raphael Leonard Dunmyer, 87, of Annapolis, MD passed away peacefully at his residence on April 11, 2024. He was born on November 15, 1936 in Johnstown, PA and raised in the  London Town community of Edgewater, MD.

Raphael married the love of his life, Marie Callahan (neé) on April 28, 1962. In 1972, he and his wife moved to the Cape St. Claire community where they settled down. Raphael retired from the Asbestos Workers Union #24. In his retirement, Raphael enjoyed building wooden furniture, hang gliding, photography, and riding motorcycles.

Raphael is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Dunmyer; their 3 daughters, Diane M. Smith (David), of Severna Park, MD, Carol A. Dunn (Christian Stephens), of St. John's Way, FL, and Erica L. Dunmyer, of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family and friend may visit on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 1 to 5 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11 am in St. Andrew by the Bay Roman Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409.

Interment will be private at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrew by the Bay Prep & Youth Programs and / or Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122
