Randolph Grayson Holmes, 92, a resident of Beltsville, died of natural causes on October 31, 2012.

He was born on August 31, 1920 in Washington, DC, where he was raised and graduated from McKinley High School. He previously lived in Takoma Park before residing in Beltsville.
Randolph was a superintendent with Cafritz Construction Company for 45 years. He also taught shop classes at McKinley High School.
He enjoyed square and round dancing, woodworking, and crabbing and especially loved his dog "Rudy".

Randolph was preceded in death by his late wife, Mary J. Holmes, who died in 1999; his late parents, Raymond and Ernestine Holmes; and his late brother, Robert Holmes.

He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Vanmalderghem (Dave) and Kathleen Gibbons (John); one granddaughter, Angie Wormuth (Steve); and two great granddaughters, Amber and Noelle.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, November 4th from 4-7 pm and on Monday, November 5th from 10:00 am -12:00 noon at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 noon Monday, following the visitation, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
