Ralph Fricke
Ralph C. Fricke, 48, of Arnold, died of heart failure Dec. 7 at home after a three-month illness.
The son of Charlotte Fricke of Annapolis and the late Hartmut Fricke, Mr. Fricke was born Feb. 4, 1958, in Annapolis, and reared in Gambrills.
He worked as a freelance photographer and was a member of the Crofton Camera Club, the Praise Band at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Baltimore Kickers and the G.T.V. Annapolis Bavarians.
His interests included photography, music, playing the guitar, writing songs and poetry and working crossword puzzles.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Carol Fricke; a brother, Hartmut M. Fricke of Arnold; and a sister, Charlotte Angeli of Gambrills.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Route 450 near Route 424, Crofton. Burial is private.
