Prabhakar Dattaram Lotlikar passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 in Severna Park, Maryland at the age of 96. He was born in Shirali, India and came to the United States in 1955. He earned his PhD from Oregon State University in Corvallis and did his post-doctoral studies at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Prabhakar joins his late siblings Sumati, Manik, Sadanand, Manohar, Sarojini, Yeshwant, and Nalini. He is survived by his wife Faye Lotlikar of 64 years marriage, his son Jeffrey Lotlikar, granddaughters Sarah Mark and Rachel Lotlikar, niece Swati Lotlikar-Kamath and nephew Navneet Lotlikar. He enjoyed a long tenured career at Temple University in Philadelphia teaching biochemistry and doing cancer research.

In lieu of flowers, we ask the memorial donations in Prabhakar's name be directed to the American Cancer Society.
