Phyllis Miller

Phyllis M. Miller, 76, of Annapolis, died of congestive heart failure Aug. 23 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 2, 1929, and reared in Berlin, N.J. She lived in Severna Park for more than 30 years before moving to Annapolis. She was past manager of Olde Towne Cleaners in Severna Park for 20 years.

Mrs. Miller was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and computer games and spending time with her family.

The widow of Bernard A. Miller Jr., she is survived by three sons, Bernie Miller of Stratford, N.J., Andy Miller of Stevenpoint, Wis., and Chris Miller of Severna Park; three daughters, Cindy C. Toft of Harwood, Denise Marino of Severna Park and Phyllis Laidley of La Plata; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
