Philip Arthur Clark, 76, a resident of Annapolis, MD, died of natural causes on January 10, 2015.
Mr. Clark was born October 13, 1938 in Great Falls, Montana and was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Sacramento, California.
He graduated from El Camino High School in 1956, and received his BA from Dartmouth College in 1960.
Some of his accomplishments were: New Jersey Distinguished Citizen's Gallery, 1965; Rumson, NJ Jaycees, Key Man Award, 1967; Outstanding Young Men of America Award, 1967; President, Parents without Partners, 1978; Million Dollar Salesperson, Champion Realty, 1988; Community Association, Vice President, 1988; Community Association, President, 1996; Retired, University of Maryland System, 2005; and Published Author, 2005-2010.
In 1964, he married Susan F. Bailey (now deceased). He married Geraldine Wade Gaheen in 1982, and they lived in Severna Park, MD for 27 years, and subsequently moved to Annapolis, MD.
Mr. Clark was active within the Berrywood, Severna Park, MD community, Meals on Wheels, and the Arnold Senior Citizen's Center.
He enjoyed playing Poker, watching the Orioles, the Ravens, and The Redskins.
He was predeceased by his father, Howard Will, "Dutch", Clark, and his mother Louise Amelia Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Clark; one daughter, Katherine of Jupiter, FL, stepsons, Mike, Kevin, Patrick, and one stepdaughter, Kathy, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, of whom he was very proud and loved very much.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. Interment will be private
