Peter Roland Todd, of Odenton, Maryland, Passed away peacefully at home on May 27th.

Pete was a devoted Father, Grandfather and Friend.

Pete began his engineering career in 1974 at the Westinghouse Bay Bridge facility. He also worked many years as a liaison between engineering and production at Martin Marietta in Middle River, MD.

Pete was a contractor and consultant. During his career he worked in the fields of defense contracting, aerospace engineering, light rail design, and submersible engineering. Most of his career was spent in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area, but his work also took him to New Mexico, Alabama, New York, Georgia and many other states.

Pete stayed in contact with the many friends he met along the way during his fifty-year career.

He spent his retirement keeping in touch with all of his friends and spending time with his grandchildren, Knox and Vada. He will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family.

Survived by his children; Ira Todd, Ashley Howard (Bryan), and Autumn Todd; (Their mother Anne Todd);  His grandchildren Knox & Vada Howard; His sister Lynda Sanchez (nephew Manny, niece Tyeler) and sister in law, Sue Todd; His Nephew Jerry Todd (Kami, grandnieces Kayli & Juli).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Todd, and his brother Philip Todd, Jr. "Phil."

Pete rescued a senior French bulldog a few years ago named Frankie, after falling in love with his daughters French Bulldog. Frankie got to spend his golden years running errands and going anywhere that Pete went. Frankie was waiting for Pete to cross the rainbow bridge. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5-7pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146.
