Peter John "Pete" Klenkel, of Severna Park, passed away on September 20th 2023.

Born on July 1st, 1959, in Sherman, Texas, he was the son of Louis and Barbara Klenkel. He grew up in Bowie, Maryland "on Safety Turn with his 5 brothers and sisters" (just ask his grandsons, it's how he started every story). Pete was an entrepreneur at heart, starting businesses over the years and worked in sales. He loved cooking, reading, football, being outdoors and cracking jokes. But his pride and joy was his family. He enjoyed vacationing together, family celebrations and dinners, game nights, and sporting events.

He will lovingly be remembered by wife of 38 years, Janet; his daughters, Sam and Barbie; son in law, De'Yonté; and grandsons Blake and Luke. He will also be dearly missed by many other family and friends.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday September 23, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.
