Margaret N. "Peggy" Bray, 76, of Annapolis, died of complications following surgery Nov. 19 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Born Jan. 2, 1928, in Baltimore, Mrs. Bray graduated from Centreville High School and Washington College in Chestertown.

Mrs. Bray worked as a physical therapy assistant and was a former high school teacher in Stevensville and St. Michaels. She lived in Severna Park for 25 years beginning in 1959 and also had resided in Stevensville and Arnold.

Among her interests were gardening, sewing and animals.

She was the sister of the late Donald Hoyt Novak.

Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Bray of Arnold, Molly Cannon of Stevensville and Judy Hollerbach of Annapolis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Burial is private. Online condolences may be made at www. barrancofuneralhome.com.
