Pearl Yohn Pickett, 81, a resident of Annapolis for 24 years, died of complications from Alzheimer's disease June 4 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Pickett was born June 18, 1924, and reared in Winfield in Carroll County. She retired from Harford National Bank and Maryland National Bank, where she worked as a bookkeeper.

Her interests included gardening, crabbing, boating and cooking. She was a member of the Eastern Star Freedom Chapter in Sykesville and Severna Park United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Carl M. Pickett of Annapolis; two sons, Ronald Pickett of Annapolis and David Pickett of Leesburg, Va.; one daughter, Susan Rodgers of Severna Park; two sisters, Mary Horton of Westminster and Teresa Pescatore of Winfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Merle Yohn.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
