Pearl Suter Dix, 90, of Westminster, died Oct. 4 of natural causes at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster after a brief illness.

Mrs. Dix was born in Baltimore on Jan. 11, 1915, and previously lived in Severna Park and Catonsville. She had worked for Rollins, Smallkin, Richards and Mackie LLC law firm.

She collected items related to cats and enjoyed her pets, bowling and knitting.

The widow of Sherwood B. Dix and the mother of the late William "Buzz" Miller, she is survived by another son, Sherwood B. Dix Jr. of Westminster; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
