Paul Alan Hillier, 39, a 5 year resident of Stoney Beach, died suddenly on November 26, 2008 in Pasadena.
He was born April 14, 1969 in Wilmington, Delaware and was raised in Bel Air, Maryland. He graduated from Bel Air High School in 1987 and received his B.S. from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 1991. He married Christine Anne Heaton in 1995.
Mr. Hillier was employed as a Yacht Designer for Belkov Yachts in Annapolis, MD for the past 10 years.
He enjoyed sailboat racing, athletics, fitness, running, surfing, boxing, rollerblading, skateboarding, fishing, and especially spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Anne Hillier (nee Heaton) of Pasadena; two daughters, Barrett K. Hillier and Rebekka A. Hillier of Pasadena; mother, Judith A. Clark of Annapolis, MD; father, Don S. Hillier and stepmother, Joan G. Hillier, both of Pasadena, MD ; and one sister, Cynthia A. Hall of Bel Air, MD.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 B & A Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paul Alan Hillier Memorial Fund, C/O Wachovia Bank, 585 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146, in honor of his daughters, Barrett and Rebekka.
